As a warm-up for Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival, Shanghai Cherry Blossom Race 2018 started on March 11, at 8:30 in the morning at Gucun Park. Led by the former world champion of table tennis Cao Yanhua, the Miss Swallow Chen Yanhua and former Chinese women’s volleyball team member Chu Yunying, more than 3,000 women in pink T-shirts set off in groups on the pink racetrack. Among them, there were elite groups formed by female doctors, female teachers, female entrepreneurs, female lawyers and other outstanding women. Just 40 minutes later, the runners who started first ended their 10km race and reached the finish line one by one.
